Cafe Julia is a beautiful and secluded location in the heart of Honolulu. This location is a 10-15 minute drive away from Honolulu International Airport, making it an easily accessible location. The property has three available event spaces and can host events of up to 250 guests.

One of the main attractions of Cafe Julia is its picturesque outdoor terrace. The terrace features lush greenery and tropical flowers, making it the perfect spot for an outdoor ceremony. The space can accommodate up to 150 guests, making it a great option for both intimate and larger weddings.

The property features indoor and outdoor options for event spaces, making it easy for couples to plan according to the weather and prepare backup plans in case of rain. The site rental fee includes staffing, linens, napkins, tables, chairs, and string lighting for the courtyard which is a beautiful spot for wedding ceremonies. A nonrefundable deposit of $500 is required to reserve the any of their event spaces for your wedding.

One catch is that Cafe Julia does not allow outside food on the premises. All catering must be provided by Cafe Julia’s in-house catering team, with exceptions made in the case of specialty items such as wedding cakes. As for serving of alcohol, Cafe Julia offers options such a no-host bar where guests can pay for their own drinks, or a hosted bar where the host can pay for the guests’ drink and set a dollar limit. It is also possible to bring your own alcohol, mixers, and soft drinks for a corkage of $7 per guest, with Cafe Julia supplying glassware, ice and a bartender. Elijah, the venue manager, is very easy to work with and can make recommendations based on your needs and also provide assistance as your Oahu wedding vendors set up on the day itself.

Parking may be cause for concern for couples looking to host their wedding at Cafe Julia. The nearest parking facility is at Ali’i Place which charges $3 for the first 2 hours and $1.50 for each hour thereafter. Weekend rates are a flat rate of $3. This is something couples should consider communicating to guests so they know where they can park vehicles.
